FAQ

What languages is the app available in?

English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese (Brazil), and Italian.

Is GridPuzzles free?

Sudoku is completely free. The other puzzle types can be unlocked individually or as a bundle that also covers any puzzle types added in the future.

What happens when I use "Check"?

The Check feature lets you verify your current progress as many times as you like. Since this makes the puzzle easier, a puzzle solved using Check is excluded from Best Times. You'll be warned about this the first time you use it on a given puzzle.

Which puzzle types does GridPuzzles offer?

Sudoku, MathCage (a KenKen-style mechanic), Kakuro, Killer Sudoku, Skyscrapers, and Binary Puzzle — each available across multiple difficulty levels (Easy to Expert).

Does my progress sync across devices?

No — currently all data is stored locally on your device only. There is no cloud sync.

How do puzzle codes work?

Every puzzle has a unique code (format TYPE-DIFFICULTY-VERSION-SEED). Use this code to replay the exact same puzzle again or share it with someone else.

How do I restore my purchases?

Go to Settings → Restore Purchases. This only works with the same Apple ID the purchase was originally made with.

How do I reset all my progress?

In Settings → Data, you'll find "Reset All Progress." This permanently deletes all saved games, best times, and Puzzle of the Day status across every puzzle type. You'll be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.
