What data is processed
ImplantPass processes the following data, exclusively on your own device and in your private iCloud account:
- Photos of your implant card, used only momentarily for on-device text recognition (Apple Vision Framework). Images are not stored after processing.
- The extracted implant data you confirm (e.g., implant type, manufacturer, date, identifiers), stored locally using SwiftData.
iCloud sync
If you’re signed into iCloud, your data syncs across your own devices via Apple’s private CloudKit database. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is accessible only to you through your Apple ID. The developer of ImplantPass has no access to this data at any point.
No servers, no accounts, no tracking
ImplantPass does not operate its own servers. No data is transmitted to the developer or any third party. The app does not require an account, contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.
Your rights
Since all data stays on your device and in your private iCloud account, you have full control at all times — you can view, edit, or delete your data directly in the app, or remove it entirely by deleting the app.
